Belgium solidarity activists demonstrate against Israel’s separation wall

The Belgian Labor Party and the Belgian Movement for Solidarity with the Palestinian People organized a demonstration on Sunday against Israel’s illegal separation wall in Torhout city in the country’s West Flandars province.
The Palestinian Foreign Ministry released a statement saying that the demonstration was organized as part of an awareness campaign by the labor party marking the anniversary of the Balfour Declaration, Nakba, and Naksa.
Activists erected a symbolic wall in the city center near the City Hall and spray painted slogans similar to those on painted onto the Israeli wall, — which many Palestinians refer to as the “Apartheid Wall” — which runs through the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem, cutting thousands of Palestinians off from their historical lands and preventing them from working on their agricultural lands.
