Several International Organizations Call for Action to Stop ‘Mass Murder’ of Palestinians in Gaza

The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor (Euro-Med) said at a press conference in Gaza that 27 different international organizations have signed a joint statement calling for a stop to the Israeli killing of Palestinian civilians.
The United Nations Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People (CEIRPP) has also condemned on Monday what it said was “the excessive and disproportionate use of force by Israeli security forces against peaceful Palestinian demonstrators at the Gaza fence with Israel”.
Also, leading Palestinian human rights organizations sent an urgent letter to the United Nations Security Council on Tuesday, decrying the “ongoing and imminent escalation of violence across the occupied Palestinian territory and in the Gaza Strip specifically, where Palestinian protesters have been met with deadly force at the hands of Israeli occupying forces”.
